Weed Man Elizabethtown Donates 134 Pounds of Food to Feeding America: Kentucky’s Heartland

We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the customers at Weed Man Elizabethtown who participated in our Grassroots Giving food drive this fall. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to donate 134 lbs of food and household items to Feeding America: Kentucky’s Heartland!

“Thank you again for coordinating this food drive,” says a representative from the organization. “We appreciate Weed Man Lawn Care's efforts, especially as the holidays approach and demand on food banks, like FAKH, tends to go up. In total, you all collected and donated 134 pounds of food, which roughly equates to 100 meals provided to our neighbors facing hunger.”

Because of you, our partners at Feeding America: Kentucky’s Heartland are providing meals for families facing food insecurity in our community. Weed Man is proud to be locally owned and operated, and we thank you for helping us make a difference for people in need–right in our own backyard!
